Hi Robin,
Things were so rushed and the weather so nasty the night I
picked up the
cake, that I didn't really get to tell you "Thank You."
We all got to the restaurant and the cake was brought out after
dinner. It
was quite a hit. My parents loved it and we got some really
good pictures
of it. It was delicious too.
Thanks for being so accommodating and working with me on the
cake and the
time frame.
It was beautiful and tasty.

Hi Robin,
Tom and I just want to Thank you for the delicious, beautiful
cake for our wedding in Nags head on Sat. April 23rd. Tom, who
is not a big fan of decorated cake icings, said it was one of
the best cakes he'd ever tasted, even the icing was good. So
many guests commented on the fresh flowers that decorated it and
were really impressed with the sugar stargazer lilies. I'm sorry
we didn't get to meet, but I will definitely recommend your
services to anyone who asks.

Derek B. Brill and I got married on May 11, 2002. Our wedding
was at the Whale head club with a reception at a rented home in
the Currituck Club. I have to say that I was concerned since I
had never spoken to you. The Carolina Wedding Company handled
the bidding process for me, so I only had a piece of paper to go
by.
Your cake was PERFECT!!!!!!!

Hi Robin,
I know this is somewhat late, but my husband and I wanted to
thank you so much for the wonderful cake you made for our
wedding. We were married on October 22 in the Elizabethan
Gardens and had our reception at the Penguin Isle. The cake was
a 2-tiered Hatteras cake with a raspberry filling and butter
cream icing. It was a delicious! Everyone raved about it. The
decorations were beautiful and meant a lot to us since we love
Hatteras Island. We've saved the top tier for our anniversary.

Sorry for the delay, but this is the first chance I have

Dear Cakes by Robin,
At first glance, many
guest thought the 3-tiered Lighthouse/beach glass cake was just a
display used by the Currituck Club until it was time to cut the
cake. When it became clear that this marvelous cake was the
“Wedding Cake”, everyone was in awe. Our wedding cake was by far
the best looking and tasting cake we have ever had. Sean and I
aren’t the biggest fans of cake but you have us both hooked. Sean
has now said every year whether it be for our anniversary or just
our vacation we will have to order a small cake.
Therefore, Sean and I
wanted to take this moment to thank you for the wonderful work you
did on our wedding cake this past June. We have never seen or
tasted a more exquisite cake, everything was perfect. We know the
ride from Wanchese to Corolla isn’t the best ride or a favored one
but it meant a lot to both of us you took the time and effort. So
thanks a bunch and we look forward to ordering more cakes this
coming summer.
